Diary of a mid-life crisis first time around the world journey

Namaste Nepal

Here’s what I learned in Nepal:

1. Nepalese flat = very hilly

2. Momo’s are amazing – like dim sum with a spicy dipping sauce

3. If it’s under 6,000m, it’s a hill, not a mountain

4. Traffic lights aren’t necessary. Just let everyone go. It works

5. Altitude makes you angry!

And here’s some pics from the journey…20140813-170003-61203062.jpg

#5 makes me lol! Does altitude really make you angry?! The highest I’ve been is about 4,000+ metres and I just remember feeling relieved I’d made the peak! Great pictures and yes – momo’s are amazing!

Ha ha thank you! Yes love momo’s! Well that was what our guide said could happen…we were waiting for it but thankfully there wasn’t any anger in our camp 🙂
